Dawn was an amazing soul. We always had wonderful conversations during her visit to the hotel. She will definitely be missed. Happy I had the opportunity to know her. SIP Dawn

Paul, I'm so sorry to hear about Dawn's passing. Although our time together was short, her kindness didn't take long to shine through. You both were so kind to me in my early days at UWO. I am grateful for having had the chance to hear her Western story and learn about her passion for the faculty. - Sincerely, Kelli

~ Kelli Norton

Paul, I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of you and Dawn coming in to the office. Dawn was such a nice lady and I enjoyed our chats over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. God Bless.

I have known Dawn since 1985 when we began working together in the Faculty of Physical Education (now the School of Kinesiology) at Western. We shared many laughs and good times in Room 100, Thames Hall, while also producing a lot of work—often joking that we were “typing our fingers to the bone.” I look back fondly on those days and cherish the memories. Paul, I am so sorry for your loss. I am thankful for the years that you and Dawn had together. My deepest condolences.

I've always admired both of you since the very first day I met you two at the Cathedral. Dawn was a joyous and kind lady. I enjoyed my chats with her. It's a huge loss for us all. Paul, I pray that God will console you and your family. Eternal rest grant unto Dawn's soul oh Lord, and let thy perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Such a tremendous loss for all of us who knew Dawn and worked with her at Western in the (at that time) Bachelor of Health Sciences Program. She was an indispensable resource for me as a young professor starting out. She not only knew what the rules required when dealing with students in distress, but she also understood the humane approach—and always suggested it to me when I sought her counsel on how to help those students. Paul, I am so sorry for your loss. If it helps at all, please know that Dawn taught many of us a better way to be in this world, and in that way, she lives on.

~ Ken Kirkwood

Paul, thinking fondly of the times we spent with you and Dawn enjoying good food and good company. We’re thinking about you. Helen and Pete

~ Helen Vandebovenkamp

Paul, Mike and I wanted to send our sincerest condolences to you and all of your family. We are so grateful that we got to know both of you and we always very much enjoyed your hospitality and friendship over the years. She was such a wonderful person! Since we have been gone, I have always enjoyed the time I got to chat with her catching up after mass. We are sorry we are not in London to be able to attend her funeral. Know that Dawn, you and your families are in our prayers. Stephanie and Mike Circelli
